One helluva Thursday

Cable hunt

Our company will be having a VoIP training this Sunday and I volunteered myself to buy networking equipment. So eto mega late ako natulog and late din ako nagising. He he he. So yun nagising ako ng past 9 kasi usually stores open around that time. Mga 10 na ako umalis with my laptop in tow.

Punta agad me sa nearest shop to buy the equipment only to find out that wala palang CAT5 cable dun. So off I went to another shop that this frigging shop recommended and sabi nila eh it's behind a petrol station (yan ang tawag sa gasoline station dito) which is 3 blocks away. Grabe naka japorms pa naman ako donning my new black FCUK shirt and cap and imagine tanghaling tapat pa yun.

So eto naghintay ako ng pagkatagal tagal for a cab to drop me at Computer Street. It's 15 minutes away from where the cab picked me up and it cost me 12 dirhams so almost P150 plus sa atin.

Pero being nosy that I am, lumapit ako sa store at sinilip ang loob.

So yun pinaupo ako at nakipagdeal sa akin. Yun mega tanong sya about what my business is and where I work.

He he he. Cable pa lang AED1600 plus na and my budget is just merely AED1500. So eto landian portion...

"C'mon my budget is 1,500 dirhams only and the other equipment are not yet included , sabi ko. "Give me a good discount" sabay blink ng eyes. Tapos nabigla ako nung tinanong nya "Are you horny?"

Natahimik ako.

"A bit" sabi ko. Binigay nya sa akin lahat ng devices for a price of 1500 dirhams na ang tunay na total eh more than a thousand dirhams pa nga.

So more kissing ang fondling lang. And I think that's the first and last kasi mega busy sya and wala rin naman akong time bumalik dun para sadyain lang sya.

So ayun umalis na ako sa store niya with a webcam as a freebie. He he he.

Couples Night

Mega bar hopping to. Me and a fab friend, Toffer agreed going out Thursday night for an 'anything goes night'.

Initially, we planned to go to Peppermint Club - a techno club bar near Jumeirah beach to party but I found out with my mini party-planner magazine that there's a major event going on and it would cost us roughly 200 dirhams for an entrance fee which Toffer immediately disagreed.

We went to IBO a famous club here in Dubai where Britons usually go. It's a couples night nga naman. Usually, ginagawa to ng mga bars para maiwasan ang mga singles to mingle. Pero in reality ang ginagawa ng iba eh naghahanap lang ng makakasama sa loob to make a pair then yun na. Pasok agad. Sa loob bahala ka nang maghanap ng Mr. or Ms Right Now.

We were not allowed to come in. We went to another hotel to go to Jules bar and got dissed again. We hailed a cab going to Regency Hotel where Rock Bottom is and Toffer pulled me because he cant afford the entrance fee of a hundred. The entrance is for free. Actually, lahat naman ata ng Filipino bars are for free.

As in sobrang cheap ng lugar. Pero haller nandun kami. He he he. Eww.

After a few minutes nakakita rin kami ng table and we ordered a pitcher of beer and a plateful of Crispy Pata.

Egyptian delight

After the party we went down and checked the scene if someone's fishing around so that we'll be ready for the hooking. He he he.

We bumped with an Egyptian guy and chat with him for a few minutes. Eventually, we're already riding his car for an escapade.

I'm kinda bored into details.

Let's just put it this way. Me and Toffer had a good meal...and it was sumptuous.

;)

P.S.

Will post pix on Sunday.
